Comments — Rules & Moderation

The AlexTech comments section is a space for open discussion. User-generated content is not pre-moderated but undergoes automated checks and, when necessary, manual review by the team.

Responsibility

Each user is responsible for the content they post. The editorial team is not responsible for the views expressed by commenters and will promptly remove any reported content that violates community guidelines or the law.

Participation rules

  1. Keep a respectful and constructive tone, even when disagreeing.
  2. Do not post offensive, defamatory, violent, discriminatory, or illegal content.
  3. Avoid spam, self-promotion, and irrelevant links.
  4. Do not share personal data — yours or others'.
  5. Follow basic netiquette: read before replying, cite sources when possible.

How moderation works

Comments are automatically analyzed upon submission using an AI moderation system (OpenAI Moderation).

  • If the comment passes all checks, it is published immediately.
  • If content has minor issues, it is automatically placed under review and published only after manual approval.
  • If content exceeds the severity threshold, the comment is blocked and not published.

Reporting

To report an inappropriate comment, write to info@alextech.ai with the direct link to the article and the content you wish to report. The team will review the case as quickly as possible.

Data & Privacy

To prevent abuse, we temporarily record the IP address of each commenter. The IP is anonymized after 14 days by removing the last octet (IPv4) or the last 80 bits (IPv6). We do not collect other personal data beyond the nickname, which can be any pseudonym. See the Privacy Policy page for details.
