For decades, esports monitors meant TN panels: fast, but weak on color, contrast and viewing angles. ASUS is trying to end that trade-off with two new 24.5-inch OLED models in its Ace line.

The panel is a TrueBlack Glossy Tandem WOLED with a claimed 0.02 ms gray-to-gray response time, 1700 nits peak brightness, 99.5% DCI-P3 coverage and true 10-bit color.

The flagship PG259QWS Ace pushes refresh rates to 720 Hz and adds an exclusive position sensor and DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR20) connectivity. ASUS calls it the official monitor of the PGL CS2 Major Singapore 2026. The XG259QWPG Ace runs at 540 Hz with the same panel.

Both were developed with direct input from professional players, with measurement scales on the stand and base, a Quick OSD menu, a Hue Optimizer and three esports color modes.

For readers, the size is the news: 24.5 inches is a favorite among pros, and until now no OLED esports monitor came in that size. Pricing and regional availability are not given in the sources.
