BLUETTI has opened early access to the Apex 200, a portable power station built for home emergency backup, RV travel and off-grid living. The model brings the modular approach of the Apex series into a lighter format with 2.56 kWh of capacity that can grow over time.
The unit combines 2,560 Wh of LFP storage with a standalone 3.2 kW AC output, which rises to 3.6 kW with expansion batteries connected or with active solar or AC input. With compatible batteries, a single unit can reach 33.28 kWh; three units in parallel, linked through the HUB A1, reach 6 kW of output and roughly 100 kWh of total storage.
It weighs 27 kg in a 36.5-litre enclosure. The company lists ten outputs, including four smart AC outlets that can be switched individually through the BLUETTI app, with schedules and controls based on remaining charge. There is also a TT-30R RV port and a 12V/30A Anderson port for direct DC appliances. Solar input reaches 3,000 W.
Home backup and travel
In essential-backup mode, the 3.2 kW standalone output can power 120 V loads such as a refrigerator, lighting, Wi-Fi and home connectivity. The limit is clear: the unit works at 120 V, and for whole-home 120/240 V backup BLUETTI points to the larger Apex 300.
For travellers, the Apex 200 can be paired with SORA 500 portable solar panels and the Charger 2, which recharge the batteries while the vehicle is on the move.
