Motorola is about to change the look of its flagship phones. The Signature 27 drops the square camera module in the left corner that the company kept for four or five years, adopting a design that Motorola itself describes as flowing contours and expressive textures. A promotional video made with creator Danny Winget now shows the device up close, confirming much of the spec sheet ahead of launch.
The centerpiece is the display. It is a 6.8-inch Tandem OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, marketed as "Extreme AMOLED Duo". Motorola claims a peak brightness of 12,000 nits, but only at very low screen coverage. The panel stacks multiple layers of light-emitting diodes to boost contrast and brightness, the same technique Apple uses on its new MacBook Pro and Honor used on the Magic 6 RSR in 2024. Motorola says the display is five times brighter than Samsung's S26 Ultra.

The body combines aerospace-grade aluminum and glass-ceramic, while the back comes in two colors, Pantone Coal Smoke and Pantone Capulet Olive. The video also shows the curved display edge and a larger cooling structure: the vapor chamber is reportedly 40% bigger, though the comparison is not stated. Audio carries the Bang & Olufsen badge, as previously announced.
On the photo side, the Signature 27 uses an asymmetric module with a 200 MP periscope sensor and four sensors in total, already teased in September with a claim of 100x zoom. The chip is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. Motorola has also confirmed seven years of software updates.
Launch
The official unveiling is set for November 5. The rest of the spec sheet, including battery capacity, which the video only calls "large", will be revealed in the coming days.

The Signature 27 succeeds the original Signature, which arrived in India in January with a 6.8-inch 165Hz display and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Compared with that model, the new flagship changes mostly its look and camera architecture, while the audio partnership and premium ambition remain.
Pricing and European availability are still to come.
