Redmi has revealed the screen specifications of the K100, the standard model of the series that will go on sale on October 27. The panel measures 6.83 inches and runs at a 165Hz refresh rate, with native support for 165fps in more than 40 games. Compared with earlier leaks, which pointed to a 6.9-inch display at 185Hz, the official figures are more modest.

Peak brightness reaches 3,500 nits, a level meant to keep the screen readable in direct sunlight. The panel also offers a 480Hz multi-finger touch reporting rate and a 3,500Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, figures aimed mainly at gamers. Eye comfort is handled by Xiaomi Green Mountain Eye Protection 4.0.

Underneath, the K100 will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the chip Qualcomm introduced in 2024 for flagship phones, paired with a dedicated D2 graphics chip. The phone will ship with HyperOS 4, which Xiaomi says allocates system resources more precisely and preloads memory so apps open faster. Redmi has also shared official images of the phone in a new Flame Green colourway.

Price, battery capacity and cameras are still unknown. Earlier reports spoke of a 10,000mAh battery, but the company has not confirmed it. More details will come at the October 27 launch event in China.
