SenseNova has presented a model and a creation Skill dedicated to making videos through code, with an approach that recalls the animation workflows already used with Claude Opus 5.5: the model writes the code, rendering tools turn it into video, and further natural-language instructions revise the result.

The model is aimed mainly at motion graphics and at all visual elements that can be expressed programmatically. The video does not come from a generator that produces frames directly, but from a program that describes scenes, movements and graphics, and that can be changed with a simple request: changing the style, the timing or a scene element means asking the model, which rewrites the code accordingly.

One feature sets the project apart from more generic tools: the ability to take a reference video and rebuild its visual treatment as editable code. In this way the look of an existing film becomes a base to start from and adapt, rather than a closed result.

The model is completed by a creation Skill that guides brief development, previews and revisions, taking the user from the initial idea to the final video. The release plan includes the full model weights and the Skill; INT4 and INT8 weights are also planned, aimed at running on less powerful hardware. At the time of reporting, however, the weights are not yet available for download.

The news arrives as the field of code-generated video looks for its own benchmark. Lo stesso approccio di codice al posto dei file grafici era già stato mostrato a settembre, quando Claude Opus 5.5 ricostruì Pokémon Red usando solo JavaScript per disegnare ogni pixel. Artificial Analysis has launched Code2Video-AA, its own implementation of HeyGen's Code2Video Bench, which evaluates 27 models on 114 marketing video briefs rendered from HTML: the test places Claude Opus 5.5 at the top, a reference point for reading the new model's performance. The theme is the same that led Claude Opus 5.5 to rebuild Pokémon Red and a rap track in TypeScript without external files, experiments in which the code also produces graphic and sound assets.

For people working with video and animation, the practical point is that the video becomes a code file that can be versioned, reread and corrected with simple instructions, instead of an edit to redo from scratch at every revision.
