AOC has introduced the U32G5D, a 31.5-inch gaming monitor with 4K resolution and a 180Hz refresh rate. The monitor was announced in China on October 21 and its full specifications are now listed on AOC's official website. The product targets gamers who want high visual quality and smooth motion.
At its core is a Penta Tandem QD-OLED panel based on EL Gen.3 technology, with a five-layer OLED structure. The panel supports a native 10-bit colour depth and has a claimed 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time. The monitor includes an anti-reflective coating and supports Adaptive-Sync, including AMD FreeSync.

According to figures released by AOC, the panel reaches 250 nits of brightness in SDR at 100% APL and 450 nits in HDR at 10% APL, with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. It is said to cover 100% of sRGB and 99% of DCI-P3, with an average Delta E below 1 in sRGB mode after factory calibration. These values come from a single source and still need independent verification.
Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 ports at 48 Gbps, one DisplayPort 2.1 port supporting UHBR13.5 at 54 Gbps, a 3.5mm audio output and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub with two 5Gbps downstream ports. Reaching 4K at 180Hz with 10-bit RGB or 4:4:4 over HDMI requires Display Stream Compression (DSC), whereas DisplayPort does not.

The stand adjusts in height, tilt, swivel and pivot, with a hexagonal base and VESA 100 × 100mm mounting. AOC also includes OLED care features, including a pixel refresh cycle and graphene-based heat dissipation.
The monitor is listed on AOC's Chinese website, but pricing and availability outside China have not been confirmed. It is not yet clear when it will reach Europe or Italy.
