Milan hosts CES Unveiled for the first time in Italy, the European preview of CES Las Vegas, the world's largest consumer electronics show. The event takes place on October 21 at the Allianz MiCo South Wing, with 70 startups ready to meet investors, companies and media. From artificial intelligence to digital health, from aerospace to agritech, these are the sectors at the heart of the first Italian edition.
The event is organised by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the body that runs CES, in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE). The programme includes matchmaking and mentoring activities for startups. A pitch competition will also help founders sharpen their presentations: the winner will get a space in Eureka Park, the startup arena, at CES 2027 in Las Vegas.

Besides Italian companies, the startups include a strong Swiss presence. For many of them, the event is a concrete chance for international visibility, at a time when Italy is trying to raise the profile of its young innovative firms in global circuits. The issue is also pressing at home, where the gap between large companies and SMEs in AI adoption remains wide, as shown by the data behind Officina AI, Milan's new AI zone for SMEs.
Impact on the Italian market
For the Italian ecosystem the event is a test of scale: bringing to Milan a showcase normally held in Las Vegas gives national startups a direct channel to foreign investors and partners, without the cost of travelling to the United States.
