Measuring the invisible to enhance people: that is the goal of Elephant Brain Lab, an Italian startup focused on psycho-physical wellbeing. Its prototype, called E1, is a portable neuro-laboratory that turns complex biological data into concrete guidance.
What the device does
According to the company, the E1 automatically collects multimodal data: brain activity, heart rate and stress markers. An AI-powered XR headset gathers physiological and cognitive data and delivers immersive audio and visual stimulation, while a cloud database stores the information.
Marco Rotonda, co-founder and administrator, describes the project as a multimodal headset. Rotonda is a psychophysiologist and clinician and serves as CEO and co-founder, according to the Gazzetta di Malta social post.

From data to protocols
The stated aim is to turn data now largely confined to neuroscientists and specialists into understandable information. The system also proposes training protocols designed to improve psycho-physical wellbeing, integrating physiological and psychological signals analysed with artificial intelligence.
Rotonda presented the project at the EU Startup Summit in Malta.
Project status
The device is described as a prototype. The sources give no commercial launch dates or prices and do not say whether the neuro-laboratory is available to buy.
