GravaStar, a brand known for its sci-fi look, has unveiled the Mercury Edge series: three gaming headsets, with the Mercury Edge Pro as the flagship. It is the company's bid to compete where design matters as much as engineering, and the Pro is built above all for players who want more precise spatial audio in-game.
A skeletal design
The shape draws on bone-like architecture: soft curves, polished transitions and layered earcups. Seven-colour RGB lighting completes the look. Comfort comes from memory foam cushions, earcups that rotate 90 degrees and a sliding headband that adjusts the fit.
Mercury Edge Pro and spatial audio
The Pro uses 53 mm dynamic drivers and runs THX Virtual 7.1.4 spatial audio on Windows 11 through compatible PC software. It adds active noise cancellation, dual ENC microphones and support for two audio sources at once. GravaStar's German site also lists head tracking, which updates sound positions as the player turns their head.
Mercury Edge and Mercury Edge Lite
The Mercury Edge adds more flexible wireless connectivity and longer battery life. The Lite is the most basic option: it connects through a direct USB-C cable and has no battery, so it never needs charging.
Price and availability
The series is open for pre-order on GravaStar's official site, announced on 29 October 2026. Prices are $179.95 for the Mercury Edge Pro, $139.95 for the Mercury Edge and $99.95 for the Lite. All three launch in black, with more colors planned.
The Mercury line also extends to keyboards and mice that share the same visual language, forming a coordinated gaming set.
