Poco has launched the Poco X8s globally, a new model in the X8 series aimed at bringing high-end features into a compact body. Its core is a flat 6.35-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, which the company says reaches peak brightness of 3,500 nits and has slim 1.18mm bezels.
Under the hood is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone runs Android 16 with HyperOS 3.

Photography relies on a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main sensor with optical stabilisation, a 50MP telephoto and an 8MP ultrawide. Sources differ on the front camera: one reports 20MP, another 32MP. The phone also carries an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, an IP68 rating, NFC and 5G.
The battery is 6,330mAh with 100W wired charging. The phone weighs about 187 grams and is 8.06mm thick, with a metal frame and Blue, Black and White colours.
The early bird price starts at $399 for the 8GB/256GB variant, while the 12GB/512GB version costs $499. In Vietnam it is already up for pre-order, with shipments expected between November 6 and 9.
The X8s sits in the same family as the Poco X8, which focuses instead on extreme battery life with an 8,340mAh cell and a lower entry price. The new model shifts the emphasis to display and a mid-to-upper-range Qualcomm processor.
