Anyone who has built an interactive app with Gemini knows the hard part comes next: getting it in front of other people. Until now, that meant copying or rewriting the code to move it elsewhere. Google now lets you export these apps directly to Google Sites, its website service in Workspace.

According to Google, the app stays fully interactive and can be customized, published and shared without copying or rebuilding the code. The export takes one click and creates a draft site that can be edited before publishing.

The feature is available on web, Android and iOS for eligible Workspace accounts and personal Google accounts. The details on platforms and interactivity come from Android Authority and are not confirmed by other independent sources.

The move links Gemini to a service many people already use for simple sites and project pages. An app born in chat can become a public page without passing through a development environment. For more advanced development, Google has pointed to AI Studio, where projects started in Gemini still require a manual migration.

The update fits Google's push to turn Gemini from a chatbot into an operational tool, as seen with the outlines in Gemini Notebook and with skills replacing Gems from November 17.
