Logitech has launched the Pebble Up, a slim wireless mouse that can lie flat on the desk or raise its top shell for a more angled grip. It is designed as the successor to the Pebble Mouse 2 M350s, but for now it is sold only in China, at 250 yuan (about $37).
In flat mode the mouse keeps the profile of a normal travel mouse. Lifting the upper panel gives it a taller, more angled shape that changes the hand position. Logitech presents the raised mode as a way to ease strain linked to carpal tunnel syndrome, although the claim is not verified by independent sources.

Size and weight
According to Logitech's specifications, the Pebble Up measures 105.8 x 59.6 x 30 mm and weighs 79 grams. Its predecessor, the Pebble Mouse 2 M350s, weighs 76 grams, so the extra height and second form add very little weight.
Sensor, buttons and software
The optical sensor reaches 4,200 CPI, with an adjustable DPI range from 400 to 4,000. There are four buttons: left click, right click, the scroll wheel button and a DPI button. The scroll wheel is segmented. As with other Logitech mice, the scroll wheel and DPI buttons can be reprogrammed in Logi Options+, which also supports gestures. The software runs on Windows and macOS; iPadOS, Linux, ChromeOS and Android get only the basic mouse functions.
Battery and connectivity
The main change from the previous model is the power source. The Pebble Up uses a 290 mAh rechargeable lithium-polymer battery that Logitech rates at 90 days per charge, replacing the AA battery of its predecessor. The mouse connects over Bluetooth Low Energy or with the Logi Bolt USB receiver, pairs with up to three devices and switches between them with Easy-Switch. Its wireless range is rated at 10 metres.
Colours and warranty
The Pebble Up comes in Rose Pink, Graphite Gray and Pearl White. The plastic is recycled: 43% in the pink and white versions, 56% in the grey one. The hardware warranty is one year.
Where and when
For now the launch covers only the Chinese market, and Logitech has announced no dates for the United States or the United Kingdom. In Europe, the predecessor Pebble Mouse 2 M350s is already on sale at around 16 euros from several online shops.
