A mouse that replaces shortcut buttons with a touchscreen under your palm. That is the idea behind the Super Mouse, announced by Arctic Fox Technologies, which aims to replace trackpads, macro pads and streaming controllers on your desk.
The core of the device is a 3.1-inch touchscreen with a 720 x 720 resolution, placed in the centre below two standard buttons, a scroll wheel and two customisable "hyper keys". According to the source, the screen is larger than the 2.25-inch side display of the Turtle Beach Command Series MC7.
The main feature is the "Control Panel", which can hold up to 16 shortcuts, macros or app launchers. Its content changes with the application in use: in Adobe Premiere, for example, editing and playback controls appear. For specific workflows or unrecognised apps, the setup is adjusted through the Flow desktop app.
The touchscreen also shows event and meeting reminders synced with Google Calendar, voice-to-text processed locally on the mouse, multiple user profiles, focus timers and productivity tracking. A gyroscope lets you advance slideshows or scrub video just by moving the mouse.
The stated full retail price is $249, while Kickstarter backers can get it for $199. Delivery is estimated for February 2027, but that date should be taken with caution, since many Kickstarter campaigns have faced delays. The mouse has no rechargeable battery: it draws power only from USB-C and cannot work wirelessly.
Compared with other attempts to merge mice and touchscreens, the Super Mouse costs more, but its screen is much larger and sits under the hand. Its boxy shape, however, does not seem to prioritise ergonomics.
